What Happened to Boopos?

Written by Christopher Krassnig - Founder - Kairos Exchange and ZenoX Media. Last reviewed 11 August 2026.

Boopos, a lender built for ecommerce and SaaS acquisitions, stopped accepting new loan applications in 2025 and joined Founderpath in an eight figure deal. Founderpath's own partner page says it funds ecommerce brands with at least 500,000 dollars in last year's sales, covering part of the gap. What is thinner now is financing for smaller stores below that line, and financing built for an asset-deal acquisition specifically.

What Boopos's Own Site Says Today

Boopos's own banner reads plainly: it joined Founderpath, and it is no longer accepting loan applications. Boopos describes its past focus as SaaS and other subscription-model online businesses, and it now services the loans already on its books while sending new applicants to Founderpath.

What Founderpath Funds Instead

Founderpath's own partner page for the deal states it funds ecommerce brands with at least 500,000 dollars of last year's sales, and agencies doing more than 1 million dollars a year, alongside its core SaaS book. That is a real, named threshold, not silence, and it covers a meaningful share of the ecommerce acquisition market that used to route through Boopos.

Where the Gap Sits Now

Below 500,000 dollars in trailing sales, a buyer is back to cash, seller financing, and SBA loans for US buyers, the same paths this site's financing guide walks in full. And Founderpath's product is built for founders raising growth capital against their own revenue, not confirmed as underwriting a specific asset-deal acquisition structure, so a buyer leaning on it should ask that question directly rather than assume the fit.
