On Kairos every listing is anonymized by construction, so a buyer forms interest from the shape of the business before anything identifying is on the table. That is the browsing layer, and it costs a visitor nothing at all, however long they linger on the page.
What It Takes to Unlock the Real Numbers

A buyer without them pays a refundable deposit, which refunds if they walk away and credits toward the price if they buy, so a serious buyer never actually loses it, and an unserious one has a real reason not to open books they were never going to act on.
