How Do I Prove My Store's Revenue to a Buyer?

Prove revenue by letting the buyer read the source systems, not documents you produced. Grant read-only access to your Shopify order data and ad accounts, or connect them to a verification service that reconciles claimed revenue against actual orders. Screenshots and PDFs prove nothing: both are editable, and every serious buyer knows it.

The Proof Ladder
A screenshot can be edited in minutes. A live screen-share is better but shows a moment, not a ledger. An analytics connection shows visits, which bots inflate. Order-level access is the top of the ladder: the buyer reads the store's own order ledger, refunds and all. Every rung below it invites a discount.
How to Grant Access Safely
Use scoped, read-only credentials: a collaborator or staff account limited to reports and orders, and ad-account access at the read level. Grant it after the NDA, log what was shared, and revoke it when diligence ends. You are proving numbers, not handing over the keys.
What Proof Is Worth
A multiple is a price on certainty, and provable revenue supports the top of the range while claimed revenue invites offers at the bottom or none at all. This is the entire reason Kairos verifies before listing: eight automated checks against read-only order data plus a human review, published as a memo the buyer can rely on.
