Re-Verification is running a store's trust checks again after it already passed once. A one-time pass only proves what was true on the day it ran. Kairos re-pulls a live listing's order data on a schedule and re-runs the same checks, catching a number that stopped holding up before an old pass ages quietly.
How Often Kairos Runs It
Kairos re-pulls every live listing's numbers once a week and re-runs the full trust engine against them, not only a drift check. A listing gets flagged back into review when a critical check now fails, a store gone refund-heavy since it listed, say, or when its recent revenue has fallen more than 20 percent against what buyers were shown. A listing that stays clean is left alone, so the sweep never piles a duplicate flag onto a store nothing changed about.
Not to Be Confused With
- Shopify Payments Re-Verification
- Kairos's own re-verification re-runs its trust engine against a live listing's stored order data. Shopify Payments re-verification is a different event entirely: the payment processor confirming a new owner's identity right after a transfer, which Kairos's own transfer checklist flags as a 24 to 72 hour step that can pause payouts.
