Order Export is the full list of every sale a store's platform has recorded. Each line shows the amount, the date, and the status. A seller can download it, or pull it through the platform's own API. It is the raw ledger a revenue claim has to match. Kairos reads that same order data over a read-only Shopify link, not a summary the seller wrote.
Why It Beats a Summary
A summary is somebody's interpretation of the underlying data: a total, a chart, a claim. An export is the data itself, at the line-item level, so a reader can sum any period they choose rather than trusting whichever period the summary happened to cover. That matters because a seller with real numbers loses nothing by handing over the raw file, while a seller relying on a curated summary is usually protecting a period, a channel, or a return that the export would show plainly. Pulling it yourself, from the live admin, on a screen you are driving, is stronger again than being sent a file, because a file can be edited before it reaches you and a live pull cannot.
